On January 3, 2017 the Allegheny County Sanitary Authority will launch its Clean Water Assistance Fund to help families pay their Alcosan bills. The program will serve low-income residential customers and for those that qualify will receive a $30 credit on their bill, every three months.

The Finance Department is located on the second floor of the Municipal Building. Office Hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 am - 4:30 pm.
The Finance Department administers the budgeting, accounting and payroll functions for all Municipal Departments. A Finance Director, Accounting Supervisor, Payroll Clerk and a Secretary staff the department.
Tax billing & collection is administered for the Municipality by Jordan Tax Service. Taxes that are billed/collected by Jordan Tax Service for the Municipality include Earned Income Tax, Real Estate Tax, Local Services Tax, and other taxes such as Amusement Tax and Mechanical Device tax. Each tax has a different rate, filing requirement and payment due dates. Residents should be aware of all due dates and payment requirements. PAYMENTS FOR CREDIT CARDS ARE ACCEPTED, HOWEVER THERE'S A MINIMAL CONVIENCE FEE THAT APPLIES. Please click on the Jordan Tax Service link above then click on "Online Payments" at the main menu.
Sewer usage fees are billed and collected by Jordan Tax Service. Payment due dates for the sewer bills are indicated on the bill.
In accordance with the Home Rule Charter, the Preliminary Municipal Budget is submitted to Municipal Council by September 1st of each year for the following calendar year. The budget is then reviewed and approved by Council by November 30th. A copy of the Preliminary and Final Municipal Budget are available in the Bethel Park Public Library.
An audit, which is required by state law, is conducted annually and is typically published in May. It is available for public viewing at the Bethel Park Public Library.
