In the Pittsburgh City Paper’s “Best of Pittsburgh” poll, Bethel Park Recreation Farmers’ Market ranked in the top of its category coming out third for the best Market in the region.

“With so many amazing markets in Pittsburgh and the surrounding region, we’re thrilled to not only have been nominated, but to be in the top three,” said Bethel Park Recreation Assistant Director Cathy Muscato.  “We work hard each year to offer shoppers a diverse variety of foods, beverages and other products that they’ve come to look forward to each week!”

The Bethel Park Farmers’ Market runs Tuesdays from June 2 – Oct. 13, 3-7 p.m., in South Park’s VIP Parking Lot near the ice skating rink located off of Corrigan Drive.

“This was our third season at this location and both our vendors and shoppers have told us that it’s the best spot we’ve had since we opened the Market in 2006,” said Muscato.  “I’d like to thank everyone who voted for us this season!

The Market averaged about 28 vendors with some attending all season and others partially.
