The Municipality of Bethel Park, in conjunction with the Redevelopment Authority of Allegheny County, is pleased to offer the Vacant Property Recovery Program. The Vacant Property Recovery Program was developed to provide financial assistance for the acquisition of blighted properties within participating communities.
As communities age, blight may become more of an issue. Blighted properties become a nuisance for surrounding property owners, negatively impact property values, and often become an expense for the local government. Programs such as the Vacant Property Recovery Program provide the tools and assistance necessary to make redevelopment an easy task, which creates a win-win situation for the community and those interested in a development project.
