The offices of Planning, Zoning, and Engineering provide assistance to residents and developers on land use issues, which includes but is not limited to the planning and implementation of maintenance and capital improvement projects for municipal streets, provides assistance with grading permits, street opening permits, as well as, sanitary and stormwater management. Staff within these offices also manages project subdivision applications, land development applications, and zoning related issues. Pre-application conferences are required for all Subdivision and Land Development applications. The office of Planning/Zoning and Engineering is located in the Community Services Department on the second floor of the Bethel Park Municipal Building and is open from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Blueprint Bethel Park
We are pleased to announce that our updated comprehensive plan, Blueprint Bethel Park, is nearing completion. The complications brought on by COVID-19 has made the rollout difficult, but we anticipate adoption pending the outcome of a public hearing in the near future. We appreciate our residents patience as staff works to ensure the accurate reflection of their sentiment in the final document.
