The offices of Planning and Zoning provide assistance to residents and developers on land use issues, manages project subdivision applications, land development applications, and zoning related issues. Pre-application conferences are required for all Subdivision and Land Development applications. The office of Planning/Zoning and Engineering is located in the Community Services Department on the second floor of the Bethel Park Municipal Building and is open from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Blueprint Bethel Park
The Municipality’s official long-range Comprehensive Plan, Blueprint Bethel Park, was adopted by Council at the July 27th, 2020 meeting. This document represents the community’s effort to continue proactively charting a course for future stability and prosperity, providing a fact base to inform the location, timing and type of future development. Additionally, it gives local leaders a clear sense of direction based upon robust community outreach.
The Bethel Park Council and Mayor, the Planning and Zoning Commission, the Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee and administration staff would like to thank all the community residents and businesses who participated and provided input on this comprehensive planning effort. Project well done!
