Allegheny County has received around 90,000 applications for mail-in ballots. The first batch of ballots will begin to be mailed on or around April 22nd. Ballots are mailed in the order the applications are received. The last day to request a mail-in ballot is May 11th. You can find links to request the mail-in ballot, registration, and other important dates in the list on the right.
Absentee Ballot envelopes have changed. The external envelope now only requires a signature and date.
There will be no satellite drop-off locations during this election, however, the County building will accept ballot drop-offs in the lobby during normal business hours. On May 12th, 13th, 14th, and 17th, the lobby will be available from 8 am – 8 pm. On election day, May 18th, the lobby will be available from 7 am – 8 pm.
REMINDER: CIVILIAN POSTMARKS NO LONGER COUNT. YOUR BALLOT *MUST* BE RECEIVED BY 8 PM ON ELECTION DAY. Military overseas ballots will be accepted up until May 25th but must be postmarked by May 17th.
