NOTICE OF A REZONING REQUEST APPLICATION
RE: APPLICATION #2020-0137
A Rezoning Request has been filed by Penn Cove Group Capital, for the property located near the intersection of Hamilton Road and Baptist Road. The area proposed to be rezoned is 10.816 acres. The applicant is seeking to rezone the property from (R-3) One Family Residential to (R-T) Townhouse Dwelling District. The area requested for the rezoning is indicated on the map attached with this notice.
The Municipality of Bethel Park will receive public comment on this application on several occasions. The first official meeting will occur before the Bethel Park Planning Commission. A workshop meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, June 24, 2020 at 7:00 PM at the Bethel Park Municipal Building, 5100 West Library Avenue. Formal comments will be received at the Planning Commission’s Regular Meeting scheduled for July 8, 2020 at 7:30 PM at the Bethel Park Municipal Building. All interested persons are invited to attend. The Planning Commission will possibly render a recommendation on the application at the July 10, 2020 meeting. This recommendation will be made prior to the application being reviewed by the Municipal Council. Prior to rendering a decision, Council will hold a Public Hearing to formally accept public comment.
