Garbage Can Delivery Information



The Municipality of Bethel Park contracted with Rehrig Pacific Company for the purchase and delivery of garbage cans for eligible Bethel Park residents.  All eligible residents have had the opportunity to select a 35, 65 or 95 gallon garbage can FREE of charge to support the automated garbage collection which begins April 1, 2019.  Distribution of the garbage cans will begin on March 18, 2019 and should end by March 30, 2019.

Rehrig Pacific Company will have three delivery teams. Each garbage can will have a scanning bar for identification.  When the garbage can is delivered to each home, it will be logged into a database which will be available to the Municipality of Bethel Park.  The garbage can will be placed where the garbage is currently picked up at each home.  Included with the new garbage can will be an information packet highlighting the Automated Collection Program.

If you have any questions once the can is delivered, you may call or email the municipality at the contact information below.  A representative may be reached between 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM Monday – Friday.  Additional 95 gallon garbage cans will be available for purchase and details will follow once all of the initial garbage cans are delivered.
