Plan to join us at the Pasta Too ‘Rev’Em Up for Kids’ Mega Car Cruise Saturday, Oct. 8 at the South Park Wave Pool Complex from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.  $5 per show vehicle; spectators accepting cash donation for the cause.  All proceeds benefit Bethel Park Recreation to assist in field improvements.  For more information, visit facebook.com/RevEmUpForKids.

Veteran’s Day Luncheon @ Bethel Park Community Center

The Bethel Park Chamber of Commerce is hosting a luncheon honoring veterans on Friday, November 11th at 10:45 am at the Bethel Park Community Center.

Veterans are free to attend; guests are $20.  Please call 412-595-8361 to attend.

Luncheon speakers will kick off the Chamber’s “PAWS for Vets” 2023 campaign in cooperation with Animal Friends, a program to purchase and match up companion dogs for area veterans who’d like to receive a “companion” animal. Please see the attached posters for more information.

Improving strength is key for all ages, particularly as we grow older!  Join Recreation Program Coordinator and Fitness Coach James Knight as he takes us through the setup of our own fitness routine whether we’re beginners, intermediate or advanced.  He’s also going to discuss the importance of movement to rehabilitate injuries and to improve range of motion helping us get back to activities that are important in our lives!  One of his clients will also be joining us to discuss her journey from injury to recovery!

Tree Lighting at the Community Center

Join us at the Community Center for our free holiday event! We’ll have our annual tree lighting, BPHS Jazz Ensemble, IMS Chorus, reindeer food making station, Bethel Park Bakery cookies, a Christmas selfie station with a backdrop and fun props, and of course – SANTA! We hope to see you there! This event will be completely indoors.
