Join us and start your new year off with a night of laughs at our Funny Fundraiser on Saturday, Jan. 28! The event will be at the Bethel Park Community Center with doors opening at 6 p.m., dinner at 6:45 p.m. and the show starting at 8 p.m. The night will feature Headliner Comedian Michael Misko, Comedian Quinn Patterson and Host, Jason Clark. Do you have scrap metal lying around that needs to be recycled? On Saturday, March 25th from 9 am – 12 pm, George Washington Elementary is holding a Metal Recycling Event in combination with Vericheck Technical Services and Michael Brothers Hauling and Recycling.
You can drop off metal food cans, holiday lights, USB cables, power cords, pipes, metal siding, bikes, and other scrap metal.
Not accepted are eWaste (home electronics such as TVs, computers, or appliances), cans for paint, chemicals, or gas, and propane tanks.

To help with your yard work, the Municipality is holding a Yard Waste Collection event this Saturday from 8 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the Bethel Park Public Works Complex – 2490 Slater Rd. So, bring your leaves, twigs, bushes, brush, and other yard debris in paper bags (no plastic please)! And remember that branches need to be bundled.

Bethel Park Municipality, the Bethel Park Shade Tree Commission, and Bethel Park High School Environmental Club will be joining together at 10 a.m. on Friday, April 21st, in Miner’s Memorial Park to plant trees in celebration of Earth Day on Saturday. Read more at this link
The Education Partnership has partnered with Guardian Storage of Bethel Park to have a FREE shredding event on Saturday, April 22nd, from 11 am to 2 pm.
You may bring up to 5 file boxes of your private and sensitive documents for secure disposal, and please remember to remove any binder clips beforehand. The Education Partnership is asking for monetary donations or 12-packs of pencils. Thank you for your support!
