Earned Income Tax is paid via payroll deduction by the employer and then collected by Jordan Tax Service on behalf of the Municipality.
Local Services Tax: Individuals who have a total annual earnings of greater than $12,000 and who are employed by a business located in Bethel Park are assessed a Local Services Tax of $52 per year. Individuals whose year-end earnings fall below $12,000 and who had the LST deducted are entitled to receive a refund. Refunds may be requested upon submission of the annual tax filing with Jordan Tax Service.

The Municipality’s Earned Income Tax (EIT) rate is 1.5 cents per dollar of earned income; 1.0 cent per dollar goes to the Municipality, and 0.5 cents per dollar goes to Bethel Park School District.
